Amphibious Aircraft Program Launches in Vero Beach

Catalina Aircraft Company has opened operations in Vero Beach, Florida. The Catalina SPAR features a maximum ferry range of approximately 3,000 nautical miles and is designed to carry forward the legacy of the legendary PBY Catalina amphibious aircraft into modern multi-mission operations. CEO Benjamin Folger emphasized the aircraft’s versatility for commercial and government operations requiring FAA Part 25 transport category certification.
